From July 17 to 19, Barcelona will become, once again, the epicenter of pride, visibility and celebration of the LGTBIQ+ community. Three days in which music, culture and activism go hand in hand to fill the streets with color, demands and shared joy.

What to expect from Pride Barcelona 2025?

More than 400,000 people gather each year in one of the most crowded events in the city, and this edition will be no exception. Two large stages—Plaça Universitat and Passeig de Lluís Companys—will host a program that combines powerful names from the music scene with key voices from activism and queer culture.

And yes, there is room for everything: from protest speeches and drag art, to DJ sets that will make us dance until the last minute. But also to reflect. Because although the party is an essential part of pride, we cannot forget that the origin of Pride is a protest. It’s protest. It is memory.

Much more than a festival

Pride Barcelona is not just a program of concerts and shows. It is also a space where diverse bodies find echo, where non-normative identities have a voice, and where the fight for human rights is celebrated, but also remembered. Because although we have made progress, there are still unresolved questions:

  • Is it safe to show yourself as you are in all neighborhoods?
  • What role does representation play in the media?
  • Is Pride still accessible to all members of the collective?

The invitation remains open. Participate, question, enjoy… and keep fighting.
