From October 23 to November 2, 2025, the Teatre-Auditori Sant Cugat will host one of the most beloved musical comedies on the international scene: Mamma Mia!. After more than 1,000 performances in Madrid and with an Award for Best Choreographic Work under its belt, this new production – by the renowned ATG Entertainment – lands in Catalonia with 14 performances that promise emotion, nostalgia and a great desire to sing.
The show will stop only in Sant Cugat during its passage through Catalan lands, becoming a highly anticipated event for ABBA fans, musical theater lovers and anyone looking for a good plan to enjoy as a community. And yes, if you too sang Dancing Queen at the top of your lungs on a summer night… this is for you.
What’s Mamma Mia! about?
A Greek island. A mother with a past. A daughter with many questions. Thus begins this story full of entanglements, tenderness and great musical themes. Sophie is about to get married and wants to find out who her father is. The problem? There are three possible candidates. Without telling his mother, he invites them to the wedding… and chaos (hilarious, by the way) is guaranteed.
Throughout the musical, a selection of 23 of ABBA’s greatest hits plays—such as Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!, Chiquitita or The Winner Takes It All—which connect with different generations and invite us to reflect on topics such as motherhood, independence, romantic love… and self-love too.
A production with a seal of quality
The staging is carried out by ATG Entertainment, the same production company behind productions such as Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, Grease or Chicago. The direction is in the hands of Juan Carlos Fisher, with adaptation by David Serrano and choreography by Iker Karrera, highly applauded by critics.
Since its premiere at the Rialto Theater in Madrid in 2022, more than 600,000 people have already vibrated with this new version. Will you be part of the next batch?

🎤 Why can’t you miss it?
Because Mamma Mia! is not just a musical. It is a celebration.
Of mothers and children.
Of the past that shapes us, and of the future that we choose.
Of the songs that have accompanied us at parties, breakups, roads, hugs and goodbyes.
And because in these noisy times, maybe what we need is to stop, laugh, sing… and dance like no one is watching.
