Have you ever felt like you need to escape from everything? From routine, from disappointments, from other people’s expectations? Imagine that, after months of working tirelessly, you decide to hit the road with your best friend and leave everything behind. Well, that’s just what Lucy Octopussy and Alakrana do, the protagonists of “Pelma y Luisa”, the new La Pulpería show that promises to be the transvestite road trip you didn’t know you needed.
From Torremolinos to Gibraltar: An Unexpected Turn
Lucy Octopussy, whom you already know as “your favorite Almodóvar girl’s favorite Almodóvar girl”, and Alakrana, “your trusted choni with Yola Berrocal’s breasts and Joaquín Sabina’s voice”, are fed up. Fed up with men who have broken their hearts and wallets, fed up with the pressure. His initial plan: a de-stressing getaway to Torremolinos. But what would life be without a good plot twist?

An unexpected incident turns their trip with friends into a wild escape from justice. Thus, Lucy and Alakrana become Pelma and Luisa (because, let’s be honest, “Sobria and Selena” were already taken). Your new destination: Gibraltar. Will they get a drug trafficker to give them shelter or, failing that, will a monkey show them a secret grotto where they can hide? Adventure is served, and laughter is guaranteed.

La Pulpería: A Theatrical Phenomenon That Returns
For those who have not yet had the pleasure, La Pulpería is much more than a show. It is a travesti vermouth, a unique theatrical experience created and directed by Lucy Octopussy that combines drag, improvisation and the most absurd comedy. After twelve successful editions, this format returns for the third consecutive season to the Gran Teatro Pavón in Madrid, and it does so in a big way!
This time, Lucy won’t be alone. He will be accompanied by Alakrana, a veteran of the format with whom he will co-star in this story of rebellion and liberation. But the La Pulpería family is large, and in its twelfth edition, the show goes on tour, bringing its irreverence and its message to more corners.
