- From May 21 to 24, the Moll dels Borja will be the epicenter of a festival that combines activism, trans culture and great musical performances.
- Amor Romeira will give the opening speech on Friday, while Azúcar Moreno and Natalia will set the pace for Saturday’s gala.
- The city is committed to cinema and art with screenings of 20,000 species of bees and exhibitions on trans reality.
Gandía is now ready to demonstrate that it is a city where “we all fit in.” Under this premise, the Councilor for Tourism and Culture, Balbina Sendra, has presented Gandía Pride 2026, an edition that promises to be historic due to its increase in activities and its international projection. With the Moll dels Borja as its center of operations, the city is preparing for four days of visibility that mix the glitter of the big stages with the depth of cinema and activism.
An agenda that goes beyond the party
Although the strong days start on Thursday, Pride is already beating in Gandía. Since last May 15, the RH Bayren Hotel and the Central Library have hosted exhibitions on trans realities, while the ABC Cinemas have projected the “Pride on the Big Screen” series with titles as powerful as 20,000 species of bees and Creature.
The institutional starting signal will be on Thursday, May 21 at 11:00 a.m. with the raising of the LGTBI flag on the Paseo Marítimo Neptú.
Weekend of stars: Amor Romeira and Mr. Gay
On Friday the 22nd, the main stage will receive Love Romeira, in charge of a proclamation that promises not to leave anyone indifferent, followed by a gala presented by Libertad Montero.
Saturday the 23rd will be the day of the great Pride March (6:00 p.m.), which will fill the Paseo Marítimo with color. As night falls, one of the most anticipated moments will arrive: the Mr. Gay Comunitat Valenciana 2026 gala. With Carmen Alcayde and Omar Suárez at the controls, and a luxury jury with names like Francis Montesinos, the contest will feature the stellar performances of Azúcar Moreno, Rebeca and Natalia.
