On July 12, in front of the LGTBI Center of Barcelona, โโthe eighth edition of Vermut Trans is celebrated: a day to make visible, connect and celebrate trans and non-binary identities.
Once again, the heart of Barcelona will beat to the rhythm of diversity. Next Saturday, July 12, from 12 noon to 11 pm, 22 Conde Borrell Street โ right in front of the city’s LGTBI Center โ will be transformed into a meeting point for the trans, non-binary and dissident community.
The excuse? The Vermut Trans, an event that is now in its eighth edition and that has managed to establish itself as much more than a festive event. It is, above all, a space for collective affirmation, living memory and political celebration.
A space made by and for the community
Born from within the collective, Vermut Trans is not just any festival. It is a celebration of identities that resist every day. A place to share the everyday and the extraordinary. Where dancing is also a way to claim.
This year, the artistic lineup reflects that vibrant diversity: artists such as Dylan Aranda, Hugo Marlo and Gael Melero, while the music will be in the hands of DJs such as Nartek, Elektra Insogna and Digypop. The event is hosted by La Tรญa Mame and Nessa Molina, two voices that combine humor, tenderness and commitment.

Beyond the stage: art, care and community
The event is not limited to music. There will be spaces for artistic creation, food, drinks and, like every year, a solidarity bar whose proceeds will go to supporting initiatives linked to the trans community.
In addition, a lilac and LGTBIQA+ point will be present, managed by the Observatori contra lโLGTBI-fรฒbia, which will ensure the safety of the environment and the prevention of violence. The idea is clear: create a space free of sexist, transphobic and homophobic aggression. Because the party can alsoโand shouldโtake care of us.
Free entry, shared pride
There is no entrance fee. No type of accreditation is required. Just the desire to be there, listen, support and be part of a network that is committed to life, even on the margins.
Trans Vermouth does not exclude anyone, but it does put the focus on those who need it most: trans, non-binary people and other dissident identities who continue to face hate speech, precariousness and lack of recognition. This space belongs to you. And yet, they invite everyone to join.
Trans Vermouth is an open invitation to let yourself be crossed by other ways of living, loving and being in the world. Maybe you don’t understand everything. You may leave with more questions than answers. But surely, at least for a day, you will feel part of something bigger: a community that resists with tenderness.
