Madrid is preparing to become, once again, the global epicenter of cocktails. From September 26 to October 5, the Spanish capital will host the eighth edition of Madrid Cocktail Week, an unmissable event for cocktail lovers, professionals in the sector and, ultimately, for all those seeking to explore new liquid experiences. This initiative, which fuses the art of cocktails with rich local cuisine, promises a program full of activities that invite participation and discovery.
Beyond the Cup: A Program for Everyone
Madrid Cocktail Week is not just a festival, it is a complete immersion in the cocktail universe. With more than 90 participating venues, including luxury hotels and Michelin-starred restaurants, diversity is guaranteed.
What can we expect?
From masterclasses taught by renowned figures to practical workshops that will allow us to delve into the secrets of mixology. Thematic routes and exclusive tastings complete an offer designed to satisfy all tastes and levels of knowledge.
This year, the excitement intensifies with the collaboration of the Top Cocktail Bars Gala, which will reveal its long-awaited new listing on Monday, September 29. More than 500 cocktails, unique creations from the best cocktail makers in Madrid, will be available to delight our palates. But the experience goes beyond the drink; It is complemented with interactive workshops, gastronomic experiences and the most select of Madrid cuisine.
NOLO: The Conscious Revolution in Every Sip
One of the great developments and, without a doubt, a reflection of the times we live in, is the growing prominence of the NOLO (No or Low Alcohol) movement. In this edition, all participating cocktail bars will be required to include at least one non-alcoholic or low alcohol cocktail in their menu. This initiative responds to a clear trend: new generations prioritize well-being, self-care and seek to enjoy themselves in a conscious and responsible way.
How do you think this paradigm shift will influence the creativity of cocktail makers?
Are we facing a new era in which sophistication will not depend on the alcohol level?
This commitment to innovation around the cocktail promises a dynamic and dizzying week, where the latest trends will be revealed that will undoubtedly inspire brands, hoteliers and consumers alike.
A Space for Professionals: Connection and Learning
Madrid Cocktail Week also dedicates a fundamental space to professional development. With specialized training and workshops, the event becomes a meeting point for experts in the sector. The participation of some of the most prominent bartenders, coming directly from The World’s 50 Best Bars, ensures an exceptional level of learning and networking.
Madrid Cocktail Week The House 2025: The Heart of the Festival
From September 26 to 28, the Palacio de Santa Bárbara will be transformed into Madrid Cocktail Week The House, the Cocktail Village of Top Cocktail Bar. This experiential space, open from 12:00 to 00:00, will be the epicenter where top-level national and international cocktail makers will develop workshops, masterclasses and gastronomic experiences. It is a unique opportunity to experience cocktails at its best and discover the most avant-garde proposals.
Will you dare to try a NOLO cocktail? What new trend would you like to discover in this edition? Madrid Cocktail Week 2025 invites us to reflect on the evolution of cocktails and their ability to adapt to a constantly changing world.
