Next Saturday, July 5, the sky of Madrid is dressed in colors. The Social Hub Madrid opens its rooftop to welcome Pride with a pre-party that promises strong emotions, music without labels and lots, lots of visibility. And it is not just any date: this 2025 marks 20 years since Spain said “yes” to equal marriage. How can you not celebrate it?

Just steps from the Royal Palace, the rooftop becomes an open-air setting where freedom is the main protagonist. From noon to eleven at night, the space is transformed into a vibrant meeting point: shared makeup, a pool at sunset, traditional cuisine with modern touches, queer DJs playing the beat and drag shows that will not leave anyone indifferent.

More than a party: an experience

This event is not just an excuse to dance (that too). It is a way of finding oneself, of recognizing oneself and of celebrating everything that has been achieved… without stopping looking forward. Because Pride is not just a date; It is an energy that is lived in every gesture, in every look, in every shared step.

The plan sounds clear: put on makeup, toast with a vermouth, let yourself be carried away by the music and let the local transformism remind us, with humor and brilliance, that there is still a lot to raise our voices about. There is no fear here, just the desire to live intensely. To shout that love, in any of its forms, is a reason to celebrate.

The soul of Pride starts from the top

The Social Hub’s proposal is consistent with its spirit. This is not just a hotel. It is a meeting point that is committed to hybridity: people who come, who stay, who work, who learn and who come together. And yes, they celebrate. With its B Corp certification, the Hub presents itself as a space committed to social change, inclusion and real diversity. And that, in times of polarization, is no small feat.

A rooftop with purpose (and history)

What differentiates The Social Hub is not just its location or its design. It is their commitment to building community. From student residences to coworking spaces and events that seek to connect people of all kinds, the Hub positions itself as a social actor that wants to go beyond offering accommodation. Its presence in more than 20 European cities – and growing – reinforces its mission: to be part of the change that transforms the way we live in cities.

So now you know. If you want to start Pride on the right foot (and hold your fan high), this Saturday there is a rooftop waiting for you. With free bodies, drinks in the sun and a beat that invites us to celebrate, but also to remember why we continue marching.
