An amusement park can be much more than roller coasters. And last weekend, PortAventura World demonstrated it again with the third edition of its already iconic Pride Night, a night designed to celebrate, claim and enjoy without filters or labels.
From 5:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. — one hour more than in 2024 — the park was transformed into a vibrant space of party, lights, music and shared emotions. Under the warm sky of the Costa Daurada, hundreds of people joined an experience designed for all identities and expressions within the LGTBIQ+ collective.
A journey through an unforgettable night
It was not simply a night of attractions. Pride Night turned every corner of the park into a stage full of energy, art and diversity.
- In the Plaza Imperial China, DJ Andreu Presas made the audience dance with a set full of electronic rhythms and good vibes.
- In the Plaza Yucatán, a live musical group performed an LGBTQ+ friendly repertoire that encouraged non-stop singing and dancing.
- The Penitence stage became the heart of the night with live performances that mixed drag art, dance and pop culture.
- In Mediterrània, the show Aquamusic illuminated the water with lights, sound and excitement.
And as a final touch, a parade accompanied by an LGTBIQ+ anthem closed the evening with a clear message: pride is also lived with joy, respect and freedom.
An experience that was beyond fun
In addition to the festive atmosphere, Pride Night offered a sensory and symbolic proposal that reinforced its message of inclusion:
- Multicolored cocktails at different points in the park.
- Rainbow-colored cupcakes.
- And a Pride 2025 capsule collection with t-shirts, caps and reusable bottles, as part of the World of Diversity line, designed to be worn on the go the message beyond the park.
The team was also thought of: internal training with a diverse perspective
One of the most valuable gestures of the day took place behind the scenes. PortAventura World organized a talk-workshop for its human team, led by activist and content creator Enrique Bernabéu.
During the session, they talked about visibility, representation and respect within the LGTBIQ+ group, highlighting the need to continue working in more inclusive and safe work environments.
Because celebrating is good, but reflecting is also necessary. Can a talk change an organization? Maybe not entirely, but it can open doors to conversations that matter.
A commitment to leisure with values
With initiatives like this, PortAventura World reaffirmed its commitment to inclusion. As a resort with B Corp certification, it continues to focus on leisure that not only entertains, but also educates, represents and connects.
