With the arrival of summer, the desire to share, celebrate and discover new places increases. And that’s where it comes into the picture. THE BAR, a digital platform that has set out to be much more than a leisure guide. Your proposal? Bringing together the best of the gastronomic scene, the most current mixology and memorable experiences signed by brands such as Johnnie Walker, Tanqueray, Casamigos, Don Julio or J&B.
If you like festivals, traditional parties or endless afternoons among urban terraces, THE BAR accompanies you on the journey. With exclusive contests, promotions and the most varied plans, it becomes a meeting point for those looking to enjoy the summer without filters, without labels, with freedom.
A summer to toast, discover and celebrate diversity
Among all the proposals that THE BAR has for this year, there is one that shines with its own light: People’s Pride. This J&B initiative is not newāit started in 2022ābut it has been growing with strength and love, bringing a clear message of visibility and respect for LGTBIQ+ diversity to the least expected corners of the country.
The plan? A tour that will visit different towns and cities, recovering that festive spirit that mixes festivals, community and demands. This year, with a special tribute to Manolita Chen, a mythical figure of Spanish transformism and a symbol of resistance for many. The floats are filled with colors, but also with history.
Stops you won’t want to miss
- Quesada (JaƩn) y Cazalegas (Toledo) They will host festivals with a local flavor and a global message.
- Great destinations like Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Benidorm o Torremolinos will be part of the route, along with international events such as EuroPride Lisbon.
- Do you want to live it from the inside? Some of THE BAR’s contests allow you to participate in experiences from the top of its iconic floats.

In addition, THE BAR constantly updates its platform with new bar and restaurant openings, cocktail recipes to surprise at home and more plans so that this summer there are no excuses to stay on the couch.
THE BAR is presented as a platform to connect with the summer leisure culture from an inclusive and diverse perspective. With Orgullo de Pueblo as an emblem of that commitment to the LGTBIQ+ community, its proposal mixes celebration and vindication in equal parts. However, it does not hurt to ask ourselves questions about the real scope of that support.
