APOLO Events & Trips in Barcelona is already a reality. The agency celebrated its arrival in the city on Friday, October 16 with a party at Bar HBB (Consell de Cent, 247), organized together with Revista Rainbow. More than 50 people enjoyed a night with Barda Petarda, games, prizes, and the raffle of a trip to Naples.
A night to welcome APOLO
The event started at 8:00 PM at Bar HBB, in the heart of Barcelona’s Eixample, and the venue filled with more than 50 people eager to party and learn about the new project.
The plan was clear from the beginning: to celebrate the arrival of APOLO in Barcelona as a party, not as a formal event. And that’s how it was. The atmosphere was close, fun, and very community-oriented throughout the night.
What is APOLO Events & Trips?
APOLO Events & Trips is a boutique agency for group travel and events designed for the LGTBIQ+ community. This was explained by Raúl Espejo Fernández, communication director of APOLO, during his speech at the party.
Raúl told the audience what APOLO is, what its upcoming trips are, and why it is considered a different agency. His message: APOLO is not just about traveling, but about meeting people, sharing experiences, and creating community during the trip. If you want to know more about his vision, you can read the interview we did with Raúl Espejo or how APOLO Events & Trips was born.
The role of LGTBIQ+ media, according to Revista Rainbow
Pablo Campos, director of Revista Rainbow, also took the floor. He thanked Bar HBB for opening its doors, the APOLO team for involving the magazine, and Barda Petarda for presenting the night.
Pablo highlighted the importance of media like Revista Rainbow today. He explained that their role is to report on LGTBIQ+ current affairs with journalistic rigor and to give visibility to what happens in our community.
Barda Petarda, games, and prizes all night
Barda Petarda was the host of the party and the great entertainer of the night. She performed several times, organized games with the audience, and distributed various prizes among the attendees.
People had a great time with the games and with Barda. There was dancing, laughter, and, above all, a very clear feeling of being in community, which is precisely the goal of APOLO.
Not even the microphone failures, which caused a few technical scares, could slow down the pace. The audience took it with humor and the party continued without losing energy.

Who won the trip to Naples?
The grand prize of the night, a four-day stay in Naples, was won by Guillermo Alcaraz. The raffle was one of the most anticipated moments of the party and capped off the night in style.
If you also want to discover Naples, APOLO has a group LGTBI trip to Naples and Pompeii scheduled from January 21 to 24, 2027, with Pompeii and Vesuvius on the itinerary. With the code RAINBOW50, the community of Revista Rainbow gets 50 euros off.
With this party, APOLO Events & Trips begins a new chapter in Barcelona alongside Revista Rainbow. Both share the same idea: community, diversity, travel, and experiences.
