A party to put a face to the project
Until now, we knew Apolo mainly through a screen: through its website, its social media, or through the LGTBIQ+ Classical Greece trip that we are telling you about in Revista Rainbow. The meeting on October 16 in Barcelona changes that — it is the occasion to meet the team face to face, in a plan designed for the encounter, not for sales.
It will be on Friday, October 16, starting at 8:00 PM, at Bar HBB Barcelona (Consell de Cent, 247), a venue that fits well with the informal tone sought for the evening: no corporate speeches, but a relaxed introduction to who is behind Apolo and what kind of trips it offers. The agency itself summarizes its philosophy with a motto that also defines this night: “exclusive experiences without excluding anyone”.
It is not just any venue or any street to do it: Consell de Cent is one of the streets that structure the Gaixample, the heart of the LGTBI+ scene in the Eixample of Barcelona, alongside Aribau, Muntaner, Casanova, and Diputació. Celebrating here the first presentation party of Apolo is not just a matter of logistics, but of context: the agency chooses to present itself precisely in one of the historical meeting points of the community in the city.
Barda Petarda brings the party, the entry is symbolic
The entertainment of the night is provided by Barda Petarda, a Catalan drag queen from Llançà who became known to the general public as a contestant on Regias del Drag España. Her presence adds the spectacle and humor that the program promises: prizes and laughter to break the ice among those who arrive without knowing each other, as well as the opportunity to connect with the rest of the community and with the Apolo team.
The entry, costing 10 € and including a beer, serves more as a symbolic filter than as a business: it must be reserved in advance through Apolo’s website, and the price makes it clear that the goal of the night is not sales, but to bring the community together.
