Who said that divas only exist on giant stages or on magazine covers? Melody, with her Andalusian strength and a voice that knows no limits, has landed in Amsterdam with all the power of her “ESA DIVA”, and has not left anyone indifferent. This was his first international stop on the way to Eurovision 2025, and yes, he gave it EVERYTHING.

TheDIVAXperience tour starts in a big way

This Saturday, at the famous Eurovision in Concert, Melody turned AFAS Live upside down in front of more than 6,000 people who vibrated with every note, every dance step and every empowering word. The artist is representing Spain this year at Eurovision, and it seems that the connection with the European public is already a fact.

With interviews, flashes, media from all over the continent and an energy that seeped into every corner of the venue, Melody not only sang: she talked about her vision, about breaking molds, and about redefining the concept of “diva”. “Anyone can be one in their daily lives,” he said. And he is absolutely right. Because being a diva is not about sequins (that too), but about attitude, truth, and not letting yourself go off.

First time live with the new version of “ESA DIVA”

The Dutch event also had its “historic” moment for Eurofans: it was the first time that Melody performed the new version of her song live. And what a premiere. Dressed in a black gauze dressing gown that revealed the most intimate and emotional part of the song, the artist started the performance with a perfect mix of delicacy and control.

But if there’s one thing Melody knows how to do, it’s surprise. As soon as the song grew in intensity, the dressing gown flew, and the iconic silver jersey from the video clip appeared, the one that is almost part of this year’s Eurovision collective imagination. And that’s when Hurricane Melody hit.

Choreography, charisma and a clear message: being you is enough

Accompanied by her dance team —Álex Bullón, Ana Acosta, Marc Montojo, Lara Díaz and Iván Matías Urquiaga—, and with choreography signed by Mónica Peña and Bullón himself, the performance was a constant high. Each movement added, counted, shouted: “here we are and we are not going to hide!”

It is no coincidence that the chorus of “ESA DIVA” has become a shared cry: “a diva is brave, powerful”. The phrase already resonates on the networks, in TikTok videos, and now also in the throats of thousands of people who chanted loudly in Amsterdam.

And the best of all is that this show wasn’t just dancing and lights. It was real emotion. At the end, Melody—visibly moved—thanked the audience with “Thank you so much. I’m very moved. This is a huge moment for me.” And it’s not every day that you take on an international stage and make an entire stadium shout your song as if it were a personal anthem.

“Unstoppable”, the word that falls short

Presenter Conald Maas made it very clear after the performance: “I already told you he was unstoppable.” And yes, it is. Since winning the Benidorm Fest, Melody has done nothing but add achievements, connect with the public and make it clear that hers is not a passing fad. It is a message with soul.

According to María Eizaguirre, director of Communication and Participation at RTVE, what was experienced in Amsterdam was pure magic: “The public has literally gone crazy. The lyrics resonated in the pit, it has been exciting to see her display her strength with the entire team.”

What’s next: London calling, Madrid and… Basel!

And this has only just begun. After her stop in the Netherlands, Melody returns this April 7 to her homeland, Dos Hermanas, to continue sharing her joy with those who watched her grow up. Then, on April 13 he will be at the London Eurovision Party, a key event in the preseason.

And the finishing touch before the big show? The PrePartyES in Madrid on April 18 and 19, where it will be the luxury host for more than 30 international delegations.

Oh, and note this date too: on April 23, RTVE will hold a big farewell party at the Barceló Theater before Melody flies to Basel, where she will defend the flag (and power) of Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025. And she will surely do so with that unique shine that only real divas have.
