The gala will be on October 2 in Seville and includes names like Alba Flores, María Peláe, and Falete.
What are the T Awards?
The T Awards are the awards with which the Trans Association of Andalusia-Sylvia Rivera recognizes those who, through their work, promote the dignity and advancement of the rights of trans individuals. According to Revista SIX, this edition is organized in collaboration with the City Council of Seville.
The awards combine figures from culture, activism, communication, and business each year, thus making it visible that the defense of trans rights is built from many fronts.
The complete list of awarded individuals
In the category of individuals, the T Awards 2026 recognize seven names. They are:
Alba Flores, actress, for advocating for freedom, visibility, and authenticity. María Peláe, Malagueña singer-songwriter who uses her music to defend LGTBIQ+ rights. Falete, a reference in copla and flamenco, for defending the freedom to be and express oneself.
Iván Gelibter, journalist and director of Revista SIX, for using communication to make LGTBIQ+ reality visible. Satín Greco, winner of the fifth season of Drag Race España, with over 20 years of experience in transformation.
Completing the list are Imperio Reina, a Cordoban artist who mixes copla, performance, and social denunciation, and Alba Pérez, a trans entrepreneur in high fashion at the helm of MR Tocados, for breaking stereotypes.
The awarded entities
Three entities complete the list: Transexualia, FAGC, and Isla Mágica. Transexualia, founded in 1987, is the first trans association in Spain. The FAGC, established in 1975, is one of the historical organizations of the LGTBIQ+ movement.
Isla Mágica receives the award for its initiatives for labor inclusion of trans individuals, a demonstration that companies can also be allies.
