Barcelona already has everything ready to celebrate one of the most anticipated events of the summer. From July 17 to 19, Pride Barcelona 2025 will take to the streets with an unstoppable mix of music, art, struggle and visibility. More than 400,000 people are expected to celebrate diversity with free programming that leaves no one behind.
LGTBIQ+ culture: the great protagonist
This year, Pride focuses on LGTBIQ+ Culture as Universal Culture. What role do our references play in music, cinema or literature? How have they shaped society beyond the margins? The 38 social entities involved in the organization wanted to launch this reflection as the backbone of the event. It’s not just a party. It is also an invitation to think, to look with different eyes.
Three days of visibility, celebration and vindication
For 72 hours, the city will be filled with colors, scenes and demonstrations. He Thursday 17 It starts with the traditional proclamation and a fun Heel Race. The epicenter will be University Square, which will host a day with performances by Hugo Marlo, Anier, Sofia Coll and a drag show that promises to raise passions. All under the leadership of Ares Teixidó.
He Friday the 18th, the atmosphere intensifies. There will be music until 2 in the morning on two stages: Plaça Universitat and Passeig de Lluís Companys. On stage, artists such as Jimena Amarillo, Yenesi, Samantha Hudson, Melody, Tommy Cash o Belen Aguilera, along with emerging names that represent the best of the current queer scene.
and the Saturday 19, the big day: the unitary demonstration that will run along Gran Via from Plaça Universitat to the Arc de Triomf. 57 floats are expected, a record that promises to turn the city center into a parade of freedom and pride.
Artists, drags and DJ sets to keep you dancing
The Saturday night line-up is on another level. From Maria Hein, Solea Morente, Nebula y Edurne, to stellar performances by Chanel and the incomparable Monica Naranjo, which will put the finishing touch to the festival. Drag queens such as Pitita, Lady Red Velvet, La Patrick o Toi Boi, with performances that mix humor, criticism and glamour.
Like every year, the invited parties will be in charge of maintaining the energy through the clouds until dawn. So if you thought everything would end when the concerts were over… you better save your strength.
